Jammy, luscious, mouthfilling.
Lunessence launched in 2014 after taking over a property in Summerland and with them brought a philosophy of biodynamic farming. Ergo, there are no pesticides or herbicides used in their vineyards, and they have a focus on natural wines.
This vintage, harvested from a vineyard in Oliver and aged 12 months in French and Hungarian oak, is much less savoury than last.
Luscious sarsaparilla, ripe purple berries and grapey aromas are layered with the perfume of wildflowers, cedar chips and chocolate. Generous fruit and supple weight, it's a mouthfilling wine balanced with freshness culminating in a smooth cocoa finish.
